TASTING NOTES

Nomans Dark is a blend of 8 and 13 year old rums, aged naturally without sugar. It's aged in white oak casks, which you immediately get on the nose. The first tastes bring notes of caramel, herbal cola, nutmeg and leather. In the background is freshly roasted nuts. Nomans dark is medium bodied and it lingers, finishing with bittersweet chocolate and coffee. 

Dark Rum Cocktails

Bright & Stormy

1-1/2 oz Nomans Dark Rum
1 oz Pineapple Juice
3/4 oz Ginger Beer
Lime Wedge
Add pineapple juice and ginger beer to a glass with ice and stir. Top with rum. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

3/4 oz Nomans Dark Rum
3/4 oz Nomans Light Rum
1 oz Lemonade
1 oz Watermelon Juice
Sprig of Fresh Mint
Add both rums, lemonade and watermelon to a shaker with ice.  Give a good shake and pour into a punch glass. Garnish with fresh mint and enjoy!

TASTING NOTES

Nomans White Rum is a barrel aged, charcoal filtered 3 year rum. It is light and crisp on the nose. On the palate, Nomans white is round with topical notes of vanilla and spice. The finish is dry with a nice and spicy punch.

White Rum Cocktails

The Vibe

1-1/2 oz Nomans White Rum
1/4 oz Giffard's Passion Fruit Liqueur
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
Coconut Water 
Lime Wedge

Build first four ingredients into a collins or juice glass with ice. Top with coconut water, give a good stir and garnish with lime.

Nomans Classic Daiquiri

2 oz Nomans White Rum
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz Simple Syrup
Lime Wheel

Add all ingredients to a shaking tin with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass or pour straight into a rocks glass. Garnish with lime wheel.

 
 

History OF OUR RUM

Nomans Rum pays homage to the rich rum running history along the Eastern Seaboard. Nomans Island is a 628 acre rock, three miles off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, used by notorious rum runners to stow away their liquid gold during Prohibition.

The Nomans Boat, our logo, was built for the hauling of heavy loads from the rocky shoreline of the Island, right in the heart of what was once known as Rum Row. Nomans was a secret safe haven used to deliver the worlds finest rums to America.
